This prominent theological debate between reformers such as Martin Luther and his opponents took place in the summer of 1519. It brought even greater attention to Luther’s famous 95 Theses and gave fresh momentum to the Reformation. Exactly 500 years later, in the summer of 2019, the hotel opened on this historic site.

The LVZ Kuppel is located on the 5th floor of the Leipziger Volkszeitung publishing building. There is a tram stop just outside. After your event, it’s well worth heading south along Karl-Liebknecht-Straße towards the Südvorstadt district.
