In 2019, Lancaster University became the first British university to establish a branch campus in Germany. Directions & Parking facilities

Lancaster University Leipzig is situated right in the heart of the city and is easily reachable by all major forms of transport. Leipzig-Halle Airport is just 15 minutes from Leipzig Central Station by train. Leipzig Central Station is served by several ICE high-speed train lines and the S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland metro system. It’s only about a 7-minute walk from the university.
The Hauptbahnhof tram stop, served by all tram lines, is also around 7 minutes away on foot. The city centre S-Bahn station 'Markt' is just a 5-minute walk. If you are arriving by car, parking is available at the Augustusplatz and Oelsners Hof multi-storey car parks, both just a 5-minute walk from campus.
