KONGRESSHALLE am Zoo Leipzig
The ‘KONGRESSHALLE am Zoo Leipzig’, originally opened in 1900, has been a modern conference venue situated right next to Leipzig Zoo since 2015. The blend of historic architecture and modern elements contributes to the venue’s unique character. As part of the refurbishment and renovation work, all rooms have been fitted with modern media and conference technology. Organisers can use the KONGRESSHALLE for conferences, congresses and events, utilising either the entire building or a combination of individual areas, depending on the size and complexity of the event. Spread across three conference levels and one exhibition level, there are 15 rooms and halls with capacities ranging from 10 to 1,200 people, as well as numerous foyer and lounge areas available for bespoke event planning.

Gastronomy and Hospitality
- fairgourmet GmbH is part of the Leipziger Messe Group and, as the exclusive catering partner at the KONGRESSHALLE, offers the full range of event catering services. These include snacks and coffee breaks, as well as lunch menus, catering for exhibitors and catering for receptions and evening events. Tailored catering concepts are developed for organisers to suit the occasion and programme. During the planning stage, measures to reduce packaging waste, sort waste and plan meals according to demand are taken into account.
Program
- The KONGRESSHALLE at Leipzig Zoo is part of the Leipziger Messe Group and has access to an extensive network of services. The Communications Department can assist clients with PR and press relations for conferences and events, as well as with graphic design services and the creation of promotional and informational materials. The Protocol Department at Leipziger Messe contributes its expertise, where required, in the planning and organisation of supporting programmes and cultural events accompanying trade fairs and congresses. The Customer Service and Protocol Departments at Leipziger Messe are happy to assist with the planning of sightseeing trips as well as pre- and post-convention tours. Cooperation partners such as the Leipzig Convention Bureau also advise clients on the organisation of supporting programmes.

- The KONGRESSHALLE am Zoo features modern information and communication infrastructure with extensive facilities. Wired internet connections with high bandwidth and availability are available throughout the venue. Alternatively, venue-wide internet access through Wi-Fi is available.
There is a standard free visitor WiFi with a bandwidth of 1 MBit per end device.
In addition, an event-specific WLAN with a higher bandwidth and its own user name and password can be created for a fee. Convention information

- Leipzig is situated centrally in Germany, and the KONGRESSHALLE is located right in Leipzig’s city centre.
Leipzig is very well and centrally connected to the ICE network of Deutsche Bahn. Leipzig-Halle Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by the S-Bahn local train. Leipzig has a very efficient public transport network with a tram stop directly at the doorstep of the KONGRESSHALLE.
From the central railway station, the venue can be reached on foot in five to a maximum of 10 minutes, alternatively two stops by tram.
