The KGSt Forum, Germany’s largest networking event for local government and public administration, will take place from 16 to 18 September 2026 at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL). Held under the motto “Passion, Precision and Personalisation”, the 143rd German Surgeons’ Congress (DCK 2026) will take place from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL). The DCK is Germany’s most important congress for surgeons and alternates annually between Leipzig and Munich. The congress incorporates the annual meetings of the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery (DGSV) and the German Society for Paediatric Surgery. In addition, the German Society for Vascular Surgery and Vascular Medicine (DGG), the German Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRÄC), and the German Society for Thoracic Surgery (DGT) will hold their spring meetings as part of the joint event.
107th German X-ray Congress 2026
The 107th German X-ray Congress will be held from 13 to 15 May 2026 at the Congress Center Leipzig. As the largest German-language congress dedicated to diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapy, the event returns to Leipzig every five years. The Annual Congress of the German Society for Radiation Oncology will take place from 25 to 27 June 2026 at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL). For the first time, the professional society has chosen Leipzig as its host city. The conference presidency includes Professor Tom H. Lindner, Head of Nephrology at the Department of Endocrinology and Nephrology at the University of Leipzig Medical Center, and Professor Joachim Beige from the KfH Kidney Centre Leipzig at Klinikum St. Georg.
